Agonda Beach

Agonda Beach lies about 37 kms from the town of Margao . It is the next beach after Palolem while you are driving towards Panaji from South. One of the most picturesque beaches in Goa , Agonda is relatively desolate largely because of its distance from the main cities. The beach offers perfect isolation for nature lovers in search of true peace of mind.

The small and secluded cove of white sand at the Agonda beach in Goa is fringed with towering palm trees and casuarinas. A large hill lying to the south of the beach makes for an enchanting backdrop. Owing to the relatively low influx of tourists at Agonda, there are not many facilities available here; no beachfront stalls and only a few restaurants are located nearby.

Anjuna Beach
Popularly known as the freak capital of the world, Anjuna is just the right place for lazing holidaymakers. Besides the calm waters of the Arabian Sea lapping softly on the Indian shore, Anjuna comes live with its ever-famous full-moon parties and the Wednesday flea market to take one on to a trance trip. The key attractions of Anjuna Beach are the magnificent Albuquerque Mansion built in 1920 (flanked by octagonal towers and an attractive Mangalore tile-roof), the Mascarenhas Mansion , and the Chapora Fort.

Bogmalo Beach
The Goa Bogmalo beach is clean and not overcrowded like some other beaches in north Goa . Regardless of recent developments, the village at Bogmalo still manages to retain its original essence. The Naval Aviation Museum is also a popular tourist attraction, offering in-depth information about the Indian Navy and exhibiting a variety of weapons, artilleries and other items

Benaulim Beach
Benaulim, located some two kilometers from the ever popular Colva Beach is fast becoming a hot spot with the beach lovers looking for seclusion. It is long white virgin beach, palm fringed and sun drenched. Nossa Senhora de Merces (Our Lady of Mercy) Church The church is famous for its annual religious event. Fama of Menino Jesuse (Child Jesus). since the 17th century. The predominantly Catholic community celebrates it on the third Monday of October every year. It is one of Goa 's most popular feasts and a big fair is held on the occasion.
